Tasting note
Wine of a beautiful ruby colour and great aromatic intensity. Thanks to the warm climate of the region, this wine displays notes of very ripe black fruits and a high concentration of flavours, elegantly combined with spice notes from ageing in oak barrels. It is full-bodied, with well-present tannins, and offers a long and balanced finish.
Vinification
The grapes, previously destemmed, underwent a cold pre-fermentation maceration for 24 hours. The alcoholic fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks, with a temperature control not exceeding 27°C, for 14 days. 7 months of ageing in French and American oak barrels.
