"Jardins do Vinho"

The terroir of Dão is characterised by the constant presence of granite in its soils.

Here, the vineyards are located on plots in Silgueiros, in soils of granite origin where the vines are surrounded by forests of Oaks and Pines.

Led by Rita Cabral de Almeida e Fonseca, Jardins do Vinho draws inspiration from the richness of the Dão terroir, characterised by the constant presence of granite soils. The wines produced, such as "Jardim de Granito", are the result of a rigorous selection of grape varieties, notably Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro, and Jaen. These grape varieties impart intense aromas and an elegant structure to the wines, reflecting the gastronomic and cultural heritage of the region..
