Casa Santos Lima is a family business dedicated to the production, bottling, and sale of Portuguese wines. This activity was launched by Joaquim Santos Lima, who, in the 19th century, was already a major producer and exporter of Portuguese wines. Maria João Santos Lima and José Luis Santos Lima Oliveira da Silva, granddaughter and great-grandson of the founder, revitalised Casa Santos Lima in 1990 by replanting most of the vineyards, improving agricultural techniques, and modernising its entire production structure.. 

Currently, the company's main headquarters (offices, wine shop, and the largest cellars) is located at "Quinta da Boavista" in Alenquer, just 45 km north of Lisbon. The company is present directly or indirectly in the regions of Lisbon, the Algarve, Alentejo, Vinho Verde, and the Douro. In this way, and from approximately 400 hectares of vineyards, it produces wines known for their excellent quality/price ratio and exports about 90% of its total production to nearly 50 countries across 5 continents..
