Casa Santos Lima is a family business dedicated to the production, bottling and sale of Portuguese wines. This activity was launched by Joaquim Santos Lima, who, by the 19th century, was already a large producer and exporter of Portuguese wines. Maria João Santos Lima and José Luis Santos Lima Oliveira da Silva, granddaughter and great-grandson of the founder, relaunched Casa Santos Lima in 1990, replanting most of the vines, improving agricultural techniques and modernizing all its productive structure.

Currently, the main headquarters of the company (offices, wine store and the largest cellars) is located at the "Quinta da Boavista" in Alenquer, just 45 km north of Lisbon. The company is present directly or indirectly in the Lisbon, Algarve, Alentejo, Vinho Verde and Douro regions. In this way and from around 400 hectares of vines, it produces wines known for their excellent quality / price ratio and exports around 90% of its total production to nearly 50 countries on 5 continents.
