Grapes: Aragonez, Syrah
Region: Tejo

Vinification: Hand-harvested, fully de-stemmed grapes, fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 26°C and 28°C, with a 2-day post-fermentation maceration. Pressed in a vertical press.
Aging: Part aged in used French oak, the rest in stainless steel tanks. Bottled in January 2013.
Tasting notes:

  • Color: Ruby.
  • Aroma: Red fruits, elegant and fresh.
  • Palate: Red fruits, good tannins, balanced.
  • Finish: Quite long and persistent.

Food pairings: Grilled red meat, stew.
