ARTICLE 1. DEFINITIONS


For the proper understanding of this Policy, words beginning with a capital letter should be understood as defined below whether they are in the plural or singular.

"The Sol Ar": refers to the company The Sol Ar SPRL whose registered office is established at Rue du Mail 90-92, 1050 Brussels, Belgium; responsible for processing data collected during your navigation on the Sites, Applications or use of The Sol Ar services (such as ordering on the Internet, use of The Sol Ar Applications or navigation on The Sol Ar Sites).

 

"Personal Data Policy": means this Policy describing the measures taken for the exploitation and management of your Personal Data when using the Sites or Applications.

 

"Cookie(s)": means a small text file that may be saved, subject to your consent, in a dedicated space on your Terminal's hard drive when you consult an online service using your browser software. A cookie does not allow the identification of the user, but records information relating to the navigation of a Terminal on a site.

 

In addition, there are technological processes with the same purpose as Cookies called "Similar Technologies" and used during your browsing on our Applications.


"Personal Data": refers to any information or set of information concerning you and allowing you to be identified directly or indirectly, that you provide when using a Site, an Application or a Service from The Sol Ar.


" Application ": refers to the downloadable applications, of which The Sol Ar is the editor and which it operates, giving you access to The Sol Ar services such as the possibility to shop online.


"Site": refers to the web pages published and operated by The Sol Ar, giving you access to The Sol Ar services such as the ability to shop online. 


"Terminal": refers to the device you use to browse a Site or access an Application: computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.

ARTICLE 2. PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

 

The information collected by The Sol Ar is subject to processing based on the execution of the contract materialized by the General Conditions of Use of your customer account (GCU) or the General Conditions of Sale (GCS) or your consent.


The different categories of Personal Data collected may concern :


your identification ;
contact data;
data relating to your family situation;
information about your studies and your professional activity;
financial data, banking data or data relating to the transactions you carry out; 
data relating to your consumption behaviour, habits and preferences linked to your use of our products and services;
data relating to the exchanges we have with you (e.g. questions about a product or service of The Sol Ar ).
When Personal Data must be filled in, the form indicates this by an asterisk. A lack of response will prevent us from using the desired service. 

Certain Personal Data not marked by an asterisk are sometimes requested. They are not obligatory and are simply intended to help us to better understand your preferences and to offer you the service best suited to them. 


ARTICLE 3. USE OF PERSONAL DATA (PURPOSES AND RECIPIENTS)


Your Personal Data allows us to identify you and manage your program and loyalty offers, to process and track your orders, to facilitate the use and improve the operation of our Sites or Applications, to carry out marketing and statistical studies concerning in particular the quality of our products and services. They also allow us to communicate to you a possible product recall from the consumer.


The Sol Ar is responsible for processing the Personal Data it collects on its Sites and Applications. We may transmit them to our subcontractors. 

ARTICLE 4. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA


Your Data may be transferred outside the European Union, where applicable, this transfer is made to a country (or recipient) that ensures a sufficient level of protection, or is governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

ARTICLE 5. DURATION AND CONDITIONS OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA 


Your Personal Data is kept for as long as you use The Sol Ar services. 


Your Personal Data will be kept for different lengths of time depending on the relationship you have with The Sol Ar . 


This way your data will be kept:


Up to 3 years after your last activity if you have simply subscribed to the newsletters
Up to 10 years following the deletion of your Customer Account if you have an internet customer account 
Up to 2 years after your last application if you apply to one of our The Sol Ar job offers . 

 

ARTICLE 6. YOUR RIGHTS FOR YOUR PERSONAL DATA

 

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data, you have the following rights with regard to your data: right of access, right of rectification, right to erasure (right to forget), right to object, right to limit processing, right to portability. You may also define guidelines for the storage, erasure and communication of your personal data after your death.

ARTICLE 6. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES


We may deposit Cookies on your Terminal via your Internet browser when you visit the Site or use Similar Technologies when you use our Applications. They record information relating to your browsing on The Sol Ar Sites or Applications. This information will be read during your subsequent visits, in order to allow your navigation on the Site or Application, to simplify it, as well as your use of the services.


The Sol Ar uses different types of Cookies and Similar Technologies for its Sites and Applications:

1 / For the proper functioning of the Site or Application


These Cookies and Similar Technologies are essential to be able to use certain functions (connection to the customer account, saving the basket...). 


2 / For audience measurement 


These Cookies and Similar Technologies allow : 

- to make statistics of visits to improve the services and offers offered on the Site or the Application, 

 

- to collect technical information about your Terminal (browser used, display resolution, etc.) in order to best adapt the consultation of our Site or Application.
